Morris Animal Foundation Case Study
The Morris Animal Foundation funds animal health research across a huge range of species, but its old brand felt dated and its open, borderless logo got lost in larger collateral. The rebrand needed to capture the breadth of the Foundation's work while honoring its 70-year history, bringing the identity forward with new life, color, and energy. At its heart is a new logo built from layered animal silhouettes set in a bold color block, paired with the tagline "A healthier tomorrow for animals." As designer and creative director, I led the rebrand and set the direction across the identity, from the large-scale imagery and color palette to the custom icon language and a printed Brand Book. For the logo, I partnered with an outside firm working from my direction; their key move was setting the mark in a box so it reads clearly at any size, and I refined it from there. I then carried the system across a full suite of applications, from stationery, business cards, and lanyards to embossed notebooks, ID badges, and patterned bandanas, all unified by bold conceptual animal photography.
